Mammography

Our Women’s Health Imaging services provide the latest in digital breast imaging technology in a private, comfortable and modern facility. In fact, we are the first center in the region to fully adopt 3-D mammography technology, which is available at our South Pavilion location in the hospital and also at Andover Medical Center.

3-D breast imaging provides better results, increased image quality, and fewer false positives than traditional two dimensional technology. Lawrence General Hospital offers breast health services that include:

• 3-D mammography
• Breast ultrasound
• Stereotactic biopsy
• Breast MRI 

A physician referral is not required for an annual screening mammogram. Please contact your insurance company if you have questions regarding your coverage.
