Financial Assistance Programs
If you are uninsured, there are several options that may help cover the cost of health care services for you and your family. The Financial Counseling Office can inform you of the options available, eligibility requirements, additional financial assistance you might qualify for, and help you with the applications. The office is located on the first floor of the hospital in Main Admitting.
Many of the available programs can cover the cost of:
- Doctor visits
- Hospital services
- Mental health, alcohol & drug abuse treatment
- Prescription drugs
- Emergency Care

Please contact the Financial Counseling Office to determine which program you may be eligible for. Our patient financial counselors can be reached Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at 978-946-8262.
Enrollment in many programs is time sensitive. Please contact our patient financial counselors as soon as possible to ensure timely processing.
Applying for Financial Assistance Program
To apply for a financial assistance program you must provide documentation of your annual household income such as:
- Payroll stubs
- Record of Social Security payments
- Letter from your employer
- Tax returns
*Some programs may require you provide proof of citizenship or immigration status.
How You Pay
How much you will pay depends on your annual household income, but some programs only require:
- Small co-payments (money you can pay each time you use certain health care services)
- Monthly premium (money you pay each month)
