Lung Cancer Screening

Lawrence General's Thoracic Surgery Program evaluates and treats patients with pulmonary nodules and masses. Symptoms of lung cancer include a new cough that doesn’t go away, coughing up blood, shortness of breath, chest pain, hoarseness, bone pain, headache, respiratory infections, wheezing, and more. For information on scheduling a screening, please call 978-946-8250

The experience of the staff and the advanced techniques available to them enable the program to greatly benefit patients by decreasing the length of their hospital stay, minimizing post-operative pain and decreasing the time it takes for them to return to normal activity. Some length of stays can be reduced by 50 percent due to minimally invasive procedures and technology.
