Spine Program
If chronic neck and back pain are making you feel helpless, slowing you down, and preventing you from living your best life, Lawrence General’s Spine Program is here to help.
The good news is that close to 90 percent of all patients suffering from back and neck pain can get better without surgery. There are many options to try before considering spinal surgery. That means a full service, coordinated Spine Program, like the one found at Lawrence General is a great choice. Our program—part of the broader Joint Program—gives you access to a variety of care options and a team of specialists who will collaborate to resolve your pain.
Common Back and Neck Pain Symptoms
- Pain that's often worsened by holding your head in one place for long periods, such as when driving or working at a computer
- Muscle tightness and spasms
- Decreased ability to move your head
Back in Motion pre-surgical spinal fusion education class
Patients who are scheduled for surgery will attend our Back in Motion education class to learn more about their surgical experience, including the care they will receive before, during, and after their time in the hospital.
Lumbar spinal fusion patients have a well-documented expected path of treatment and recovery, and the Lawrence General Spine Program supports patients on that journey with services all along the way.
