A Message to Physicians

As you may have heard by now, on August 29, 2024, Lawrence General Hospital entered into an asset purchase agreement for Holy Family Hospital’s Methuen and Haverhill campuses. We hope that you will consider joining our team. It will be an exciting time as we work to reimagine the delivery of health care to the Merrimack Valley. As we work towards that vision, you have our commitment to honor Holy Family Hospital’s long and rich history in providing excellent care to its communities, to celebrate the incredible opportunity in front of all of us and to embrace the future as we work together to build a true regional health care system in the Merrimack Valley.   
 
The operational transition will take effect on October 1, 2024. While this is a time of great excitement, we also appreciate that it can also be a time of uncertainty and that folks will have a lot of questions. Please know that there are many transition details that we are working through. We will provide regular updates as we move along in this process. We also invite you to send your questions to questions@lawrencegeneral.org or to reach out to our Chief Medical Officer George Kondylis, MD, at George.Kondylis@lawrencegeneral.org. We will be onsite at both campuses on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024, to conduct Town Hall meetings — Methuen Campus at 2 p.m. and Haverhill Campus at 4 p.m. Finally, we invite you to join us at our welcome reception for physicians and providers at Salvatore's on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024, at 6 p.m. We hope to see you there!
