Robotic Surgery for Partial and Total Knee Replacements

Available now, at Lawrence General’s Joint Program: robot-assisted total and partial knee replacement surgery. The super precise implant placement is pre-planned by the surgeon using CT images of each patient. The result is a joint replacement that generally provides patients with:
  • Less blood loss
  • Less post-surgical pain
  • Quicker recovery
  • Earlier joint flexibility
  • Better patient satisfaction
Surgeons are specially trained to operate using the robotic-arm. Watch the video below to learn more about the robotic surgery technology and the surgeons using it.

As part of the Lawrence General Joint Program, patients will participate in a pre-surgical physical therapy home assessment and a pre-surgical “Joints in Motion” education class at the hospital. Joint Program patients also have access to a knowledgeable orthopedic care team including physician assistants and physical therapists both in the hospital and after being discharged home.
