Pre-Admission Testing Transitions to Beautiful New Space

In mid-November, Pre-Admission Testing moved from its temporary location on Hamblet 1 to its beautiful new permanent home on Lamprey 3, just outside the Santagati Center for surgery.

A spacious new waiting area also opened at this time, providing families with a welcoming and comfortable space to relax while their loved one is in surgery. The waiting area features such modern amenities as a docking station to power cell phones and laptops and a refreshment bar stocked with water and coffee.

This project marks the final phase of the multi-year Surgical Services expansion and renovation effort. Also located in the new Surgical Services suite on Lamprey 3 are two operating room schedulers; two Patient Access representatives; and surgical services leadership.
